The data collected when you visit our website is stored on the agency's servers. We use the agency as a hoster, on the one hand to enable the contract to be concluded (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and on the other hand, in our legitimate interest, to provide an efficient online service from a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
§ 4 Data collection and processing when accessing the website
In principle, you can use our website without providing any personal data about yourself. Every time our website is accessed, the following data (access data) is recorded anonymously and temporarily and stored in a log file on our provider's server and in our system’s log files until it is automatically erased:

If you send us inquiries by email via info@advantec-engineering.com, you must state your name along with your message. For telephone inquiries and telephone communications, in addition to your message, we record your name and telephone number, as well as the date and time of your call.
For inquiries and communications by fax, in addition to your message, we record your name, fax number, as well as the date and time we received the fax. Further data that you provide in your fax and that is not immediately necessary for the inquiry and further communication will also be stored.
If we receive your inquiries and communications by mail, they will be scanned by us immediately upon receipt and stored in the data storage on our server. When doing so, we record your name, the date of receipt and a contact option provided by you so that we can process your inquiry, clarify follow-up questions and continue communication with you. Further data that you provide in your letter and that is not immediately necessary for the inquiry and further communication will also be stored.
PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING:
We will use the data you provide in your email, phone call, letter or fax to process your inquiry, for any follow-up questions you may have and to continue communication with you.
LEGAL BASIS:
Data processing is carried out in the event of an inquiry by email, telephone, letter or fax on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, namely in our legitimate interest to respond to the email, fax, letter or with a callback, to answer your inquiry and to be able to continue the communication with you.
If your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b), GDPR applies as a further legal basis for data processing.
STORAGE PERIOD:
We will store the data transferred to us for the duration of the communication with you. After the final conclusion of the communication, the data will be erased, unless there are legal retention periods.
RECIPIENTS OR RECIPIENT CATEGORIES:
Your message will be transferred via the email provider we use and stored there. To ensure your rights, we have concluded an order processing contract with the recipient.
Your telecommunication data such as telephone number and owner of the telephone number and also fax number and owner of the fax number are transferred via the telecommunication provider used by us and stored there.
TRANSFER TO A THIRD COUNTRY OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION:
We will not transfer the personal data you provide when using the contact form to a third country or to an international organization.
§ 7 Video conference via Webex
When we contact you via video conference, we use the service Webex, offered by the provider CISCO Systems Inc. (hereinafter CISCO), with headquarters in San José, California, USA. The Company's Data Protection Officer for Europe is Cisco Systems International BV, Haarlerbergweg 13-19, 1101 CH Amsterdam-Zuidoost, The Netherlands.
By using the service Webex, we can connect with you via video conference in an audiovisual meeting.
In doing so, when you access the video meeting link provided to you, your browser establishes a connection to CISCO, which gives CISCO knowledge of the following personal data:

When using the Webex software, personal data can be viewed by those participating in the meeting, namely

- Chat messages
- Desktop approval
- Camera
- Microphone
Desktop approval, camera and microphone can be turned on and off by the participants themselves. This data will not be accessed without approval by the participants.
PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING:
- Webex is used for the purpose of conducting online meetings and video conferences.
- Registration information is provided for the purpose of registration and use of the service.
- Host and usage information is collected for the purpose of diagnosing technical problems.
LEGAL BASIS:
The legal basis for the use of Webex is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in contacting you via online meeting and video conference.
The legal basis for the collection and use of the registration as well as host and usage information results from Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in order to enable the application to function smoothly.
In addition, for the use of the application software Webex as well as the associated data collection, your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR has been given.
RECIPIENTS OR RECIPIENT CATEGORIES:
However, the data collected from the registration and host and usage information will not be processed by the responsible body here at any point. This is done exclusively by CISCO itself. TRANSFER TO A THIRD COUNTRY OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION:
The personal data you provide will be collected by CISCO. In principle, data processing takes place in a member state of the European Union. However, the transfer of data and data processing by the parent company CISCO within the USA is not excluded, meaning data processing may take place in a third country.
§ 8 Applications
We look forward to your application for a position with us. You can apply on our website using the application form or by email.
When you submit an application, the following personal data will be collected from you:

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING:
The data you provide will be used to review and respond to your application and in the event of follow-up questions as well as acceptance or rejection. The data is also necessary to make a pre-selection regarding the ability to do the job being offered.
